I didn’t join the cooking class but it’s still a very good restaurant. The food was so fresh and the way they cooked made the food even better. I ordered the stir-fried veggies with seafood and the fresh spring rolls. The sauce of the stir-fried was a little bit sour and sweet, but not too heavy, so much so it didn’t overshadow the taste of the veggies. The fresh spring rolls were delicious too. Inside the spring rolls there were different herbs that comprised the simple but refreshing taste. Although you may find this comment exaggerating, this restaurant is a must-go one if you travel in Hoi An.
We had a really fun and informative day at Tra Que Gardens, we went with the aim to learn how to make a little Vietnamese food when we got home, we actually learnt about Vietnamese Culture, went to the market, learnt to identify various herbs and vegetables, did some sowing, had a massage and learnt to make some delicious food and had lunch, all carried out with great humour. I would highly recommend this class, it was well organised, good value for money and lots of fun.
My partner and I had a late lunch at Tra Que. The restaurant is set in a lovely area surrounded by veggie and herb gardens. The staff here were fantastic and attentive and the food was amazing. I had the vegetarian spring rolls and rice pancake and my partner had the fish clay pot. All of which was delicious. The restaurant is clean and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.
